Kuntshistoriches Museum (Vienna)

Today we visited the Kuntshistoriches Museum, the large art museum in Vienna. Most of their Ancient Rome collection was discovered in Austria. The museum also had a large Egyptian collection and an extensive exhibit of paintings. We spent over 3 hours exploring the museum, much to Griffin’s dismay!

After we left the museum, we walked around the MuseumsQuartier and enjoyed the gardens. Next, we hung out at a park in our neighborhood. Griffin played on a fantastic tire swing while I relaxed in one of the many public hammocks that have been placed around the park.

We met up with Curt’s brother and colleagues for dinner at an outdoor restaurant in our neighborhood where we could watch the European Cup games. We saw half of the Ireland v. Sweden game and the half of the Belgium v. Italy game.
